The West Adelaide Bearcats are pleased to announce Head Coach appointments for the club’s 2020 Men’s and Women’s NBL1 programs.

 

Corey Maclean will continue in his role as Head Coach of the Men’s program, while Joe Noone has been appointed as Head Coach of the Women’s program. 

 

It will be Corey’s fourth year in charge of the West Men’s program, while Joe has been appointed to lead the Women’s program after returning to high-level basketball as an Assistant Coach in 2019. 

 

Reflecting a long-term focus by the club, Joe will also be Head Coach of the club’s Under 18 Girls and work on reshaping defined pathways for club juniors into the club’s senior Women’s program. 

 

Joe succeeds Boti Nagy in the Women’s role. The club would like to thank Boti for his contribution to the club in 2019, which saw the Premier League Women compete in finals and narrowly lose an elimination game in a very even competition.
