External Trials for 2025/26 

External Trials for our 2025/26 teams will be held on Sunday 17 August 2025 - see times below.

These EXTERNAL trials are for players who have not played District basketball with the Bearcats in 2025.

 

Current District players do not need to trial and will instead be invited to squad trainings.​​​​​​

The 2025/26 District and ACBA seasons each commence early in Term 4 of the school year. â€‹â€‹â€‹

We welcome all District, Country and ACBA players who are not currently representing West Adelaide Basketball Club to attend our external trials for the 2025/26 Basketball SA District Calendar.

Please wear a reversible singlet, bring a basketball and arrive no later than 15 minutes before your allocated session. Upon session commencement, parents and caregivers will be asked to come upstairs to participate in an information session with our club JDO.

Sunday August 17:

  • U16/18 Boys (2011/12, 2009/10): 8am - 9.15am

  • U12 Boys (2015/16): 9:30am - 10:45am

  • U14 Boys (2013/14): 11am - 12:15pm

  • U12/14 Girls (2015/16, 2013/14): 12:30pm - 1:45pm

Please note, places in our district system are limited but we do endeavour to offer each athlete involved in the external trials a place in either our ACBA or District Stream.
