ACBA COMMUNITY LEAGUE

The ACBA (Adelaide Community Basketball Association) is a competition league. For younger players, this is usually the next step after Aussie Hoops or our Under 8 “Cubs” program, although some kids may start here. It is also a great option for older players or families who don’t want to commit to the extra demands of District basketball.

JUNIOR DISTRICT

District basketball involves the best club teams in South Australia. The West Adelaide Bearcats currently field around 50 junior teams (boys and girls) in Basketball South Australia’s district competitions in Adelaide, in the under 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 age groups.

NBL1 CENTRAL

The Bearcats top Men's & Women's teams compete in NBL1 Central, the top basketball competition for South Australia's elite men's teams. The League is played between April and September and includes 10 clubs from metropolitan Adelaide.
