The Bearcats top Men's & Women's teams compete in the SA Premier League, the top basketball competition for South Australia's elite men's teams. The League is played between March and August and includes 10 clubs from metropolitan Adelaide.

The Bearcats have junior basketball options for all ages, experience and abilities.
If you are a boy or girl looking to get started with basketball in Adelaide please see our ‘Getting Started’ page. To start in a team environment, the Development League is the place to be. If you are getting serious about your basketball then Junior District Basketball with the Bearcats is your next step.

The West Adelaide Bearcats field over 50 junior teams (boys and girls) in Basketball South Australia’s district competitions in Adelaide, from under 10s to under 18s. Bearcats junior teams generally train twice a week and compete weekly against other district clubs and in various metropolitan, country and interstate carnivals throughout the year.
