WEST ADELAIDE BASKETBALL

Development League

TERM 3 2022: The Bearcats ‘D-League’ is a junior competition designed to introduce children to playing basketball in a team environment whilst also improving their skills, having fun and gaining some enjoyable exercise in the process.
This is usually the next step after Aussie Hoops, although some kids may start here.
Games are played on a Saturday afternoon at Port Adelaide and participants are grouped according to age and ability around the U8, U10 and U12 age groups. Bearcats D-League also includes a training session each week, with the time depending on the age group.
Children aged 5-11 years of age are welcome at any time to join an existing team or create a team with their friends from their school or existing club.
