Try, Develop, Achieve Program

Try, Develop, Achieve is a program run once a week on Sundays to introduce participants to wheelchair basketball in a fun and welcoming environment with other disabled athletes. 

 

This program runs for one hour and allows the athletes to develop the basic skills involved in wheelchair basketball including: chair skills, ball skills, dribbling, shooting and passing.

 

A fantastic opportunity to make friends and further your career in wheelchair basketball.

What other options/pathways are there available for wheelchair players?

  • Senior Social competition hosted on Tuesday night from 6.30pm at Hampstead.

  • West Adelaide Thunder national wheelchair team who compete in the National Wheelchair Basketball League.

  • Kevin Coombs Cup South Australian Junior team who compete alongside the U18 Junior National Championships each year in April. This South Australian rep team is available for men under the age of 23 and women under the age of 25.
