Bearcats Hustle back into NBL family for 3x3

The West Adelaide Bearcats have rejoined the NBL family after becoming an official "3x3 Hustle" franchise.

With the introduction of 3x3 basketball into the Olympic program (set to debut at Tokyo 2020), the National Basketball League and Basketball Australia have joined forces and created NBL 3x3Hustle, which is the official national pathway to the World stage.

You can read about it and watch some video here: https://www.3x3hustle.com/what-is-3x3-hustle/

The first step of the pathway is to participate in 'Street Hustle' events, and the Bearcats will be running some of these in 2019. Street Hustle will provide 3x3 tournament play for U12, U14, U16, U18 and Open Age players. You could then go on to represent the Bearcats in state and national level Hustles.

The announcement of the Bearcats participation as an NBL 3x3 Hustle franchise is included here: https://www.3x3hustle.com/news/2019-nbl-3x3-pro-hustle-announced/

You can read about the Bearcats NBL History on our Club History page.

Internal 3x3 on 20 October

Before we run a Street Hustle though, the club will hold an internal 3x3 carnival at the Port on Saturday 20 October - Under 12/14 from 2pm to 5pm, Under 16/18 from 6pm to 9pm. Get details about how to play from your club coach.
